Morocco Coastal Duct and FTTH Route Plan
Coastal and urban routes can combine occupied ducts, moisture, road crossings and building entries. Divide the route before choosing cable construction and before fixing pulling and drum lengths.

01 · Three decisions to settle first
Survey ducts by section
Record usable diameter, occupancy, bends, chambers, drainage and pulling access instead of assuming one condition for the whole route.
Separate protection levels
Use duct cable where protection is adequate and add armor only where mechanical, water or rodent exposure justifies it.
Plan building transitions
Identify entry points, termination, fire requirements, splice locations and labels before shipment.
02 · Recommended project structure
| Network section | Typical product family | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Urban or campus duct | GYTA/GYTS duct cable | Duct diameter, occupancy, pull length, bends, moisture and metallic restrictions |
| Exposed or damaged section | Armored outdoor cable where justified | Roadworks, water, rodents, mechanical risk and grounding |
| Building and FTTH handover | Indoor/outdoor transition and passive materials | Entry method, bend control, ODF or box capacity, labels and OTDR baseline |
03 · Information to send with the RFQ
- Urban or campus duct: Duct diameter, occupancy, pull length, bends, moisture and metallic restrictions
- Exposed or damaged section: Roadworks, water, rodents, mechanical risk and grounding
- Building and FTTH handover: Entry method, bend control, ODF or box capacity, labels and OTDR baseline
- Survey ducts by section: Record usable diameter, occupancy, bends, chambers, drainage and pulling access instead of assuming one condition for the whole route.
- Separate protection levels: Use duct cable where protection is adequate and add armor only where mechanical, water or rodent exposure justifies it.
04 · Factory evidence buyers can request
The quotation should connect the proposed construction to production, optical testing and shipment records. Ask for evidence for the offered model and order—not generic marketing files.

Cable construction and jacket marking confirmed before the run

OTDR attenuation and length checks recorded before packing

Labels, quantities and packing checked before loading
